Traits are perks and talents that don't require characters to make Skill checks to activate. These are usually passive benefits that augment a character's existing abilities, providing bonuses in battle and tools for characters to implement in out-of-combat scenarios. Every Trait costs 5 Character Points. The available Traits are:

  • Adept: Infuse martial arts techniques with channeling.
  • Ambidextrous: Fight more effectively with two weapons.
  • Blind-Fighting: No disadvantage to Accuracy rolls for attacking unseen targets.
  • Calculator: Compute math problems 10 times faster than a normal human.
  • Channeling: Channel energy from various sources to build Powers.
  • Directional Sense: Always know what direction north is and accurately judge distances.
  • Double Jointed: Gain advantages while grappling.
  • Eidetic Memory: Accurately remember everything your character encounters to the smallest detail.
  • Exploit Weakness: Gain a bonus on melee damage rolls with coordinated attacks.
  • Lightsleep: No disadvantages to Perception checks made while sleeping.
  • Master of Improv: Use improvised weapons with Martial Arts.
  • Out-Flank: Gain bonuses to Accuracy when using coordinated attacks.
  • Phalanx: Work in tandem with shield-bearing allies to increase your defense.
  • Rapid Processing: Process information faster than a normal person and keep better track of enemies.
  • Striking Appearance: Gain an Advantage on Interaction Skill checks relating to physical appearance.
  • Terrain Mastery: Move through one type of terrain without penalty.
  • Time Sense: Accurately keep track of time and coordinate with allies more effectively.
